Our newly appointed Nominating Committee chaired by Maria Abreu, with members Axel Dignass, Uma Mahadevan and Willem Bemelman, has started off in April this year.
Their first assignment has been to closely look at our membership profile and level of diversity. Like other organisations, IOIBD aims to be transparent about processes and future ambitions.
The committee has come up with a New Membership profile, which has been approved by the Executive Board. Also, the Nomination Process will be different which means that we need other input, including a personal motivation from the candidate. Last but not least, the Deadline for submission has changed to 01 September 2022 (annually).
