IOIBD Institute
The IOIBD Institute B.V. has been founded in November 2021 and based in The Netherlands. The board of Directors is formed by the Chair and Treasurer of the IOIBD Foundation (SUFIT), plus two Dutch Directors. The day-to-day business is in the hands of one of the Dutch Directors, Ms MGC Konings, who also leads the IOIBD Secretariat since 2011.

The aim of the IOIBD Institute B.V. (LLC) is to support the Mission of the IOIBD Foundation (SUFIT). The company is therefore committed to the health of people with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) worldwide by initiating, implementing, and carrying out activities with the aim of obtaining third-party financing for the non-profit activities of the SUFIT to improve the health of people with IBD.
The SUFIT is 100% owner of the IOIBD Institute B.V. The net profit in the IOIBD Institute B.V. is transferred to the IOIBD Foundation (SUFIT) on an annual basis.
